I think your reception staff could do with a little interaction training.
I’d expect "Hello, good morning, how can I help?" and a smile.
What I received was zero eye contact, no smile, no welcome and a request for payment before I entered.

That’s not how you do customer service. That’s what I’d expect at a self check-out in Tesco. And yes, I am a customer not a patient.

In direct contrast with the dentist himself who was utterly charming and professional.

Your reception is critical to your business retention.
