Hygienist Visit
Great dentist! Can really recommend. The only thing is they did two X-rays on a normal check up which I didn’t ask for and then charged me for it.
Also the doctor told me two hygiene visits a year are fine while the lady at the desk wanted to get me on their membership plan including 4.
Felt a bit like a money making move.
Otherwise a great place

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We follow national guidelines on how often to take radiographs, they are an essential tool to spot decay early and also bone levels and other pathology. We offer a range of dental plans, which give a discount and also other benefits. Unfortunately, as your feedback is anonymous I can't see what the error was. The range of plans suit the different needs of each patient, some offer 1 exam a year and 2 hygiene visits, some 2 exams and 2 hygienes , another 2 exams and 4 hygiene visits. There was possibly a breakdown in communication between the dentist and the receptionist, as we certainly only ever recommend plans to suit the needs of the individual patient.

Hygiene appointment
This morning I saw Cassie the hygienist. She is so thorough. I then went on to see Joanne Mason who took time and care with the procedure that I had. I have only just moved to this dental practice and am so glad I did.

First Visit
This was my first visit to Northiam Dental, previously having been with another local dental practice. I would like to say that the dental assessment carried out by Joanne was by far the most in-depth and confident assessment I have ever had from a dentist. She took the time to explain in detail several issues which required attention and recommended a sensible course of treatment, with detailed costings. I am looking forward to becoming a regular patient at this excellent practice.

Just joined this practice and my initial 2 appointments the first a new patient exam and the second a hygiene therapy were thorough, informative and friendly. As a nervous patient I was made to feel relaxed and everything was explained to me. I am so pleased that I decided to join this dentist can't fault any part of the service I received.

Such a warm welcome at Reception. Arjun and his assistant , along with the Hygienist and her assistant were ALL 100%. Could not ask for better and helping me become confident as I am extremely nervous .
