Very friendly and punctual.

Always loved Chilwell DP over the years even if it’s changed hands it always provided great service, I received a great service check up from Marie. Very friendly and helpful and created a peaceful atmosphere. Once my appointment was done, I got talking to the new receptionist. I asked about booking an appointment for a relative, she explained to me that the relative couldn’t change or opt out of receiving private dental care. Which I found fascinating because basically if you don’t want private treatment and you choose not to have private treatment just because the dentist has gone private there no option of seeing an NHS dentist even if the practice has a NHS dentist. It’s seems you're not allowed to see the NHS dentist. Even if you don’t have a contract or anything legally binding.
Which I find crazy, unfortunately our government have forgotten that people need dental care especially under the NHS. I fully understand that the government are underfunding the dentist industry which isn’t easy especially if you own a practice. Therefore losing out on money and not gaining any profit therefore going private would be the way forward.
I hope going forward Chilwell DP consider having a NHS Dentist available even if it’s a long wait, but at least theirs an option to see NHS dentist….otherwise you are bent over a barrel and have no option to pay for private treatment or go without any treatment because we all know fully well that no clinic in England or in Nottinghamshire is taking on new NHS patients making it extremely difficult. Seem like the dentist future will be a difficult one.

Rang Monday after weekend toothache. Tuesday 8.30am appointment given. Elisa listened to my brief, took an x-ray & confirmed it was a gum problem. Antibiotics for 7 days prescribed & dispensed. The two ladies treating me were personable & professional & the receptionist responded in Welsh to my comment....her predecessor having left a response in Welsh on my file. There are people & technical skills aplenty in this practice & the standard of care I receive is the best I've had in the last 76 years! Highly recommended!

My dental problems are more complicated and troublesome than , but I am very grateful to Dr. Rocky for his attentive treatment. He is very experienced and does a good job in dental surgery. In addition, the nurse, May, is also very careful to explain the details of the treatment and provide me with care, so this clinic All these two doctors and nurses are really worth it. If you have any dental problems in the future, you should come back to them for treatment. I have seen other dentists before, and I can say that this is the best dental nurse clinic I have encountered in the UK.
