I saw the hygienist Vishwa Patel today and as usual, very professional, courteous, excellent at her job and always giving encouraging comments during the procedure. I highly recommend her. An asset to the practice.

The Smile Centre
I attended my dentist appointment at Nottingham Smile Centre. The receptionist was lovely, also the dentist Nayyab Ahmed and dental nurse, apologies I forgot her name, were very good and patient with me because I am an anxious patient. I appreciated it and how they took time with me. Thank you so much.

I arrived five minutes early for my 2.45pm appointment and went to the waiting room. Nothing was said about a delay.
After about 30 minutes a lady came into the waiting room and said that the receptionist had told her the dentist was still with their patient from 2pm.
I waited ten more minutes then went to reception to ask how much longer I would need to wait. She just shrugged and said ‘how longs a piece of string.’
I said what I’d been told about the dentist being in with a patient for longer than expected, the other receptionist said ‘we wouldn’t know that, we don’t get told.’ Seeing as though they check people in and out and take payments I found that hard to believe.
When I got to see the dentist they were friendly and informative although my check up did seem quick.
I have previously put in a complaint about the service received from the hygienist - this was acknowledged with the promise of a response after a meeting the next day. This was never received.
