Unfortunately what stood out for me was the increasingly unkempt appearance of the premises. From an untidy front garden, fading paintwork inside and out and the seemingly permanent water stains in one treatment room it all looks unloved and uncared for. I feel for all the staff who are simply bloody marvellous and deserve better in my opinion as a patient of over 25 years at The Smile Centre. It’s not smiling at the moment.

I saw Beth Jones today who confidently drilled and filled a tooth that I had chipped and had previously had a cavity in. She stated she didn't think it would require anaesthetic, which I agreed to with the caveat that I could ask for it if required. She completed the job in less than 10 mins and I felt nothing! She really is brilliant.

I have been going to the Smile centre for over 10 years and I have always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming.

This week I required an extraction of a lower wisdom tooth from a ortho dental specialist. I was nervous, but the nurse Ellie was very kind and helped me feel better. The surgeon, Oke Ikeajwani was incredible. He talked me through the procedure, explained everything as he went along and even got me laughing!!! He then managed to pull the tooth without me realising he'd started - I just thought he was testing for pain...
