I’ve been with Ravat & Ray for over 5 years, and during that time most of my appointments have felt rushed, rarely lasting more than 10 minutes. Even for something as simple as a scale and polish, I often had to insist, and it would usually be split into two separate appointments.
Today, however, I was seen by Dr. J. Shu — and it was a completely different experience. He is clearly passionate about his work, and I was genuinely impressed with the care and attention he put into my appointment. I won’t go into too much detail, as I fear the practice may limit his time and resources, which could undermine the passion and quality he brings to his work.
Ravat & Ray, you need to retain Dr. Shu and have more dentists like him. I’m also considering aligners in the near future, and if your orthodontic practitioners approach their work with the same dedication as Dr. Shu, I would happily choose to have that treatment with you.

Got an emergency appointment here for a filling. I'm nervous of dental appointments especially procedures but Sophie was lovely and made me feel totally at ease 😊
They even followed up with a suggestion of an NHS dentist possibly taking on patients after I had mentioned it in the appointment. Lovely practice!
