My experience

Disappointing. My GP had referred me for an emergency appt to see if I had an abscess in the roof of my mouth that needed antibiotics, or for a referral to maxfac if there were any concerns.
I did have xrays at the dentist however the dentist said I didn't have an infection even though the Dr said my lymph nodes were up on the right hand side and the inside of mouth is swollen and catching.
The dentist didn't know if they could refer on and simply signposted me back to my GP for further assessment and onward referral.
So disappointing and not particularly helpful unfortunately.
They also tried to offer me private dental appts, twice, even though I'd said I only work part-time in the NHS myself and can't afford private dental care.

Went in today after breaking one of my back teeth and the staff was lovely and friendly and were very pleasant to deal with. I had to have tooth pulled and dentist called Jon was amazing he kept me calm and made sure I was comfortable and looked after and made a quick job of pulling my bad tooth. Would be very happy to go back.
