Ormskirk Dental Care
The dentist and dental nurse were absolutely fantastic, so good with my 3 children especially. However, the volume of forms I had to complete was nothing short of a joke. Repetitive information that could have been streamlined many times over. Trying to complete for 4 people whilst supervising a bored toddler did not lead to a good experience in the waiting room. I complete these forms every time I come, why is the information not stored?! Ridiculous.

My experience
I attended via the emergency dentist with severe wisdom teeth pain. My gum was cleaned which has reduced the inflammation around the wisdom tooth, but I was given a prescription for codeine from the dentist. When I went to the pharmacy with the prescription they said the dentist isn't able to prescribe pain killers and should have prescribed antibiotics. I'm still in severe pain and waiting for an xray in a weeks time on my wisdom teeth and having to contact the emergency dentist again today as I can't eat and it hurts to open my mouth wide and swallow and ibuprofen and paracetamol and co-codamol isn't masking the pain. If I was given the correct prescription I wouldn’t be in so much pain and going through this again.
