Combe Road Dental Practice

This is a really good dental practice, all staff are welcoming and the environment is very clean and inviting (as much as a Dentists can be!). The receptionists and dental nurses are always friendly and helpful and the dentists and hygienist are very thorough and kind.

Wonderful, friendly practice. I always get a warm welcome. I am areally nervous patient and the dentists and the hygienist put me at ease each time!

Having had one implant fitted two to three years ago, I decided to have two more fitted to avoid having broken crowns and teeth.
The treatment was completed recently and I can only say the end result is completely satisfactory. The new teeth look and feel just like the original teeth as I remember them, or even better. It was well worth the time taken which was minimized by having an on-site dental technician.
I am extremely grateful to Dr Janet Barker and all the staff involved.

As a child my dentist was a butcher and I had developed a real fear, Janet has completely put me at ease, although it would be an exaggeration to say I now enjoy going to the dentist the team at Combe Road are wonderful, I now have my 6 monthly (instead of 6 yearly) check ups and any work required is done in a very professional way and at very reasonable prices. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I chose to have Iman aligner braces to straighten my teeth. Dr Barker explained the treatment before we began and I found this very reassuring. I am really happy with the results. I hadn't realised before just how conscious I was of my crooked teeth, so much so that I did not like having my photo taken. Given the boost to my confidence I think the braces were great value for money.

It was easy to book an appointment as they are open evenings and weekends.

The dentist was very patient, listening to my problems and concerns. She explained what needed doing and why it needed doing. I was then given an estimate of the cost, before the treatment was completed.

The treatment was pain free and the white filling on my front tooth was a perfect match.

The practice offered me a free appointment with the friendly Oral Health adviser which was very informative, explaining about gum disease, decay and how to prevent it.

Although I didn't need it, they also have their own dental technician, who repairs dentures within 5 hours.

I would definitely recommend this practice to my family and friends.

Janet and her team are second to none! Friendly service with a (white!) smile. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all very sympathetic to any concerns around sensitivity, nervousness, etc. I would never go anywhere else.

I have been a patient since the practice opened in 1994. Over the years Dr Barker has helped me with normal dental care, dentures and implants. All the people at the practice are really friendly and welcoming.
