Smiley, happy faces
Just so you know, I am one of those people who hate going to the dentist. I work myself up for days beforehand.
Now, the good news is, I have never been made to feel stressed or in any way "weird". From the moment I step through the door I am greeted with smiley, happy faces, putting me at ease.
I usually let them know that I am a little anxious and today, even though I was just undergoing a clean, which I have to admit was slightly painful, the dental nurse sympathetically gently rubbed my arm. It didn't massively help, but was a lovely gesture, very much appreciated. Whilst I wouldn't be happy if I needed lots of treatment, I would at least feel confident that they would take care and deliver a professional and respectful service.
