My experience

The dentist and dental assistant were very good, very friendly, and explained everything very clearly.
Upon leaving and paying the receptionist informed me that this dentist was leaving so I could not book another appointment until the vacancy is filled, and this was done by head office, so I would be contacted by head office rather than the practice. When I asked the receptionist to repeat it because it wasn’t clear, her response was a not courteous. I left feeling uneasy because I am not sure when I will have my next dental checkup. In my opinion I am a customer of the practice, not any specific dentist within the practice. And there is a pool of dentists. I understand that the number of dentists in the practice needs to be maintained but I’m not happy with the implication that I have to wait for recruitment. Obviously recruitment must be difficult if this dentist is leaving and ‘head office’ don’t yet have a replacement. So a mixed experience.
