Had two fillings put in today and the that went very well. Apologies for not remembering the name of the dental surgeon but she was extremely nice always asking if I was okay and letting me take a break when needed. Telling me what she was doing before doing it and how it might feel so I knew what to expect. Had a great and easy experience.

Great staff and always polite and cheerful. Always a full explanation on my dental examination and discussion of any problems I may have. I am very confident on my dental visit.

My dentist didn't mention the confusing letters sent out recently (according to the receptionist, "by people higher up in the organisation") about a dental plan but I wonder whether I'd be given more time if I join the plan - my appointment was rather rushed, although I prolonged it by asking some questions. Some months ago I saw a different dentist in the same practice and she took care to check glands in my neck and recommend I see a doctor about a facial mark, as well as prescribing (then necessary) antibiotics, whereas this time (as usual with my dentist) the focus was on known issues ('paint' over wisdom tooth impact areas, root canal treatment and associated infection, wisdom tooth extraction & historical over-brushing) seemingly without checking for anything new. Also, I failed to try to describe and show a specific part of my mouth so I suggest the dentist would benefit from having a large-scale model of a mouth - that would make it much easier to point at places. On leaving, the normal receptionist was temporarily absent and another staff member kindly made my appointment. However, I was told the time but didn't know the date until it was confirmed by text a little while later - I could've asked when I was still there but shouldn't have needed to.

Magda the receptionist is very welcoming, patient & helpful. Great asset to the practice. My dentist was his usual friendly helpful self. Answering questions explaining procedures making it easier to relax. I have great faith in him.

I arrived early and because the previous patient didn’t arrive on time I was seen immediately.

Polite, professional and reassuring

I received my nhs 6 monthly review check by Manoj, He provided very good service as did receptionist.
There was however confusion caused by a text link sent to me, requesting updating personal medical records, which I did however it’s only when asking for confirmation that my information had been received, I was informed it was not needed and only yearly updates are needed.
Please only ask for information when needed.
The question below is confusing to me. The situation is I am an nhs patient but paid for my recent checkup. Hence I have ticked nhs option below in response to how treatment was paid for.

Both the hygienist and my dentist are always a pleasure to see and I trust that they do a great job. However the wait to see the dentist was 25 minutes after my appointment and the appointment felt rushed with my mouth only being open for less than a minute. The hygienist appointment was on time but again the whole procedure only took under 5 minutes which is fine but paying a total of £100 and a long wait for both appointments to only last less than 10 minutes in total feels like a lot!
