Mould for new crown
I had an injection to numb the gum, in order for the impression to be taken. This was the first time without sedation for over 15 years. It was fine, due to the reassurance from Deepak.

Excellent service
For some years we have discussed that two teeth would need to come out. Each year some amazement that I have kept them in. Now it was time for them to be extracted as both had become very loose and painful.
I have been attending here since they took it over from the previous owner and have always had a good service; this time was no exception.
Sandy injected me to numb the mouth and I did realise he had done so.
When he took the first tooth out the only reason I knew is because I saw it as he put it to one side. I concentrated and managed to detect a slight tug when the second was extracted.
I was warned there may be some bleeding etc but it appears I heal quickly as within a day it settled.
Very professional and painless procedure.

Emergency appointment
I was very pleased with my treatment. The dentist was extremely pleasant and polite.
However, I was dismayed having entered the room and sat down that the dentist sat down about two feet from me to discuss the problem without a mask on. I mentioned it but he seemed unfazed. He and the nurse put a thin mask on whilst doing the treatment but had they not been told about the 2 metre distance rule? I understand that they usually wear masks only during the treatment and have to be close then, but to sit down beforehand at such close proximity was extraordinary. I am almost 75 and had been self isolating for 2 weeks. Dentists are seeing lots of people and are putting themselves at risk as well as the patients.
I just hope my health has not been compromised.
