Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear about your experience — the last thing we want is for you to feel uncomfortable during your visit.

I appreciate your comments about the water spray during the AirFlow treatment. We try to use the AirFlow method in all hygiene appointments (if patients can tolerate it) because it usually gives gentler and better results, but clearly in this case it caused distress. We can absolutely offer you the more traditional scale & polish or prophy-polish instead in future if that feels more comfortable.

Regarding the price increase: the hygienist appointment fee has gone up from £85 → £88 → £90.50 in the last 3 years. For a 30-minute appointment, we believe we are still quite competitive in the area, acknowledging your comment that it is a big cost.

To hopefully make things a bit easier for you, we’d like to offer you a free hygiene appointment (on us), and as an option for the future also invite you to join our membership plan which allows payments for your check ups and hygienes to be spread monthly.

Again, I’m sorry your last appointment was unpleasant, and I hope we can make your next one much more comfortable.
