Selby Dental Care

The visit was fine. However I’ve come home and the dentist has chipped part of my tooth off during the clean. Will be calling to book an appointment to have it rectified.

Had to go for a filling today. Nobody looks forward to it, but I can honestly say the lady that did it was very friendly, talked me through it, kept me calm, gave me plenty of breaks to catch my breath. All in all very very happy with how it all went.

Everyone from receptionist to clinical staff are always pleasant, professional and respectful.

I have been with the practice all of my life, and really don't want to change but the way the service is going is shocking. I have now just had would I believe to be my 5th cancelled appointment. I do not earn enough to go private. I care about my health but am not getting the support to be able to do this from your practice. I fully understand that things happen but if I would have done this as many times with the same client in my job I would have been fired. I feel so sorry for your receptionists as they are doing so much apologising but it isn't their fault also it always appears to be the same member of staff the contacts me and that makes me feel sad for her as that's not what her job should have to be all the time. Also it always happens the canceling with not great notice and unable to book other jobs in as had to take days off to do appointment. So losing money which isn't great either. Something needs to be done I know there is a shortage in the nhs but something needs to happen before things cause bigger problems in the long run. Hope you can sort soon.

Appointment was on time and the dentist was very informative about what he was going to do.

Mr Nawaz was patient and kind with our children. He was thorough with his examinations.
The receptionist who booked our next appointments and took payment was also very patient and professional.

First time as urgent case and got an appointment next day. Got an Infection and given antibiotics plus advice. Friendly staff.

I'm always pleased to be able to see a dentist, even if an emergency I am given a appointment quickly, but sadly I get used to one and then the next visit they have left. My previous one was amazing but he has gone to Manchester as a private dentist.
Also it is much better paying for treatment a bit at a time instead of all upfront. Thanks.

All staff are efficient and friendly. Clean and well kept practice.
