Went for my annual diabetic eye check. In and out super quick!

I have been with Crystal Peaks Medical Centre for about 6 weeks now. I moved here from Owlthorpe Medical Centre and before that Mosbrough Health Centre. After years of putting up with atrocious reception staff at Mosbrough, then virtually non existent Diabetes care at Owlthorpe I felt I had to move.
I was booked in for retinal screening at CPMC and was impressed with how friendly both the receptionists and medical team were.
The person I've had most contact with there is the Diabetes Nurse Specialist Helen Spink.
After a long talk with Helen and some super advice, my Diabetes levels have EVENTUALLY arrived at a more suitable standard. 15 years of readings around 10-20 on my meter, now hitting 5.7
Took this shot today, the date on my meter is wrong.

Note to others... people complaining about wait times, you will see the same at any surgery. Personally I've had upto 15-20 minute late calls, but compared to my last call at Mosbrough Health Centre they left me and my daughter stewing for 90 minutes once.

I recently swapped dental surgery’s, and I am so glad I did. The staff are magnificent, especially Laura and Zara. Even turned up on the wrong day, and they couldn’t do enough to help me. John is wonderful, so happy and positive, The work he’s done to my teeth has helped me with my body image issues and nothing is too much for him. Can’t thank you all enough, you make me feel welcome and at ease at every visit. My children also love coming, which helps so much. Well done guys!!

Such a nice practice with friendly and professional staff. Mrs.Barr treated me since I was a child and was very good at making me feel at ease as I was a very nervous (and difficult) child. Unfortunately she has recently retired so I have moved to Mr.Peach who has done some brilliant composite bonding to close a gap between my teeth which I always hated! I have also had Botox in my forehead by Mr.Peach, which I was very nervous about, but he took the time to explain everything in great detail. He is such a perfectionist and very good at his job. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

As a family we have used this practise for many years and we have always been more than happy with the service. Everybody is friendly and welcoming, the ladies on the reception desk are very attentive and always make a fuss of our children and nothing is too much trouble. Our dentist, Mr Peach, is also very friendly and approachable my children actually like going to the dentist and I believe it’s because of the atmosphere that everybody creates here. Great customer service and very reasonably priced. Will continue to recommend.
