Dinnington Dental Practice

I attended via 111 emergency appointment for a broken tooth on Sat 19 Aug. I saw Jonty the dentist and he is without doubt the best dentist I have ever been treated by. He took time to go through my medical conditions, asked lots of questions to understand the issue and my dental history Then he asked me what ideal outcome I would like 😁 I explained I didn't want an amalgam filling (I have my reasons) and i don't want the tooth extracted unless it was absolutely necessary. Jonty took an x-ray and talked me through the image and then my options - he said it needed filling and amalgam is the better option as it's stronger however he respected my view and agreed to fill it with a white filling. Jonty frequently checked to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure, he has impeccable people skills and is very friendly. I was in and out of the dental chair in less than half an hour. Competent, thorough, professional 1st class service.
When I was leaving I inquired about the private dental plans as I am struggling to find NHS dentist taking on new patients.
Becky was fantastic! she was knowledgeable about the various plans, what they included and how much they cost. Very open and honest. Becky spent time talking to me and I could tell she had a genuine interest to help.

I cannot recommend this practice enough ❤️ they are warm friendly welcoming and very helpful and professional. I am definitely going to pay for a private dental plan whilst I wait for an available NHS Dentist to become available. Thanks 😁

Very old and damaged chair with a potential to hurt someone’s back. Dirty room floors. One wonders if there is a lack of attention to detail with regards to floor cleaning, what then happens with all other things.
