I had a very pleasant experience from arriving to the end of my treatment and leaving.

It took three days to get an emergency appointment at the surgery. The appointment was very good once I got in.

Took my opinion into consideration and explained the options. Very thoughtful in mannerisms... took time when polishing my teeth and dental work on my teeth. I was pleased as it displays pride in your work. Nothing worse than sloppiness and lack of concern for your patients.

The dentist. Very polite and skilful and efficient. Asked me what the problem was and how it had happened, then explained the treatment needed. Answered my questions thoroughly and made sure I was happy and comfortable with the work he had done. Told me what might happen- going forward, and ensured I had a follow up appointment booked.
What I didn’t appreciate was being on the telephone for an hour to book an appointment, to then be told there were no appointments available and that I would have to ring at 9:00 the next day to try and get an emergency appointment. I phoned at 8:59am and was first in line, so I managed to get an appointment for that same day. However, my Husband (who was also suffering with toothache) phoned at 9:00am and was 4th in the queue, was told that there were no appointments left. When he queried this, the receptionist told him it was because they didn’t have many dentists working that day.
More emergency appointments please.
As a family, we have have been registered with this dental practice for nearly 22 years and have, largely, been satisfied with the service. This has been my one and only gripe. So that is why I have marked down by one star.

The young lady on reception was very personable. The dentist and nurse, Sam and Izzy were brilliant. They put me immediately at ease and sorted the hole in my tooth with no fuss.
