Only four stars as I sometimes find the receptionist aren’t very friendly but appreciate they are busy.

Been at Dinnington Dental practice for decades, and apart from a sometimes long wait for a NHS appointment, I am otherwise very happy.

Unfortunately I broke a tooth late Friday evening but I had no pain. I rang the Surgery 9 times through the day on the Monday, starting at 9 am to try to secure an appointment but was cut off once and left my name, address and phone number on the answerphone on 4 of the other occasions once I had waited for the ‘music’ to end. I did not get a call back at all! On the Tuesday I went to the Surgery in person having only got the answerphone first thing again. When I explained what had happened the day before I was told by the receptionist that if she was dealing with people face to face she couldn’t answer the phone! That did not explain to me why I didn’t get a call back either. I found her to be quite rude. I have to say I have always found the staff brilliant before. I wanted to see Jacob and the earliest appointment was for a week on the Friday. I was prepared to wait as I really trust him and there was no pain. As always Jacob was kind, efficient and polite as was the nurse and I was glad I waited and was really happy with the outcome (it would have been 5 if reception had been more efficient). I was again not so impressed with the reception staff when I arrived for my appointment as one was obviously struggling with a phone client and needed help and it was obvious the others were being very short with her and didn’t really seem to want to help her. Shame.
