Arrived with 2 young kids and wasn't waiting long. Thoroughly explained what he was doing. Kids enjoy coming to dentist as they get a sticker.

As long as I see Bilal service is exemplary. When I've seen other dentists service has been mixed. Bilal is friendly, helpful and considerate and the work he does on my teeth is always without fault.

Amy, the dentist, who see us is always polite and really caring. Knows that I am petrified of coming to the dentist and she has really helped when I am having any treatment by talking to me, explaining everything that is going to happen and being very calm. Can't be thankful enough to her and hope she never leaves the practice as she is brilliant

No consistency in which dentist you get. Poor IT issues with new iPad.Getting people to sign the Pad with a finger is really poor and creates an unprofessional image. On my last visit, the receptionist dealing with a elderly lady was very off hand with her because she could not answer questions re her treatment costs. Very poor.

A good IT system would have had all the information May be a little IT training and customer care required

Very disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you are not happy with the new IT system that has been installed, the system is new so problems can be experienced in the interim period as with anything else that is new. We do have stylus pens on reception if you find signing with the fingertip difficult. At reception certain information must be ascertained before they are seen by the dentist. Patient consent is very important and must be correct at each visit as personal circumstances may change, i.e. what they claimed for 6 months ago may not apply at their next appointment. If a patient signs the consent form incorrectly regarding their exemption a fine will be issued by NHS Business Service Authority. Our reception staff assist patients to prevent any fines being issued so this is maybe what you witnessed. Your comments will be shared with the team and if you wish to discuss this further please call and speak to our Clinical Lead, Bilal El-Dhuwaib. Kind regards Dinnington Dental Practice.

The reception isn't very private and everyone was made aware of a situation I would have rather kept private. My scale and polish was just a scale of the front bottom and top teeth. Very little on the back of my teeth and no polish whatsoever.

I'm sorry to hear you are unhappy about our privacy on reception. We have a privacy sign up but unfortunately it is in the waiting room. This states that if you wish to discuss anything in confidence this can be arranged, please just let reception know.
