My dentist is so lovely
Everyone is efficient and friendly, putting me at ease. My dentist is so lovely. Professional, kind, and remembers little personal things about me, which makes me feel valued.

The dental appointment was initially for a check up with a dentist (who was very efficient and displayed reassuring confidence), followed by a clean and polish with my usual hygienist (who is always considerate and caring). Generally a positive experience.

Park Dental Care
Sama is lovely, good service, I was recommended a shield for grounding teeth to protect and got an appointment for me. However, the surgery does not give as good a standard of a check-up as in many previous years - no clean and polish anymore, no plaque removed and no mouthwash offered. Just felt it had gone down in the overall high standards it’s had for years.

Thank you for your review. It has always been at the individual Dentists discretion as to whether or not a scale and polish is provided as part of an NHS examination. Due to the ever increasing pressure on NHS Dentistry, many Dentists prioritize clinical time for more extensive treatments to more efficiently manage their time. If your Dentist feels you would benefit from any form of Hygiene therapy, they will most likely refer you to one of our Hygienists who has the appropriate amount of clinical time to manage your care. If you wish to see one of our Hygienists we can arrange this for you.

There are a number of reasons as to why you could have been kept waiting - treatment doesn't always go to plan and more time may have been required having a knock on effect to the whole session for the Dentist and any patients who follow, we could have had an emergency patient. Unfortunately due to your review being anonymous I can't look into this in detail for you. Hopefully our reception team advised you of your waiting time. Staff here are always friendly including the lovely receptionists.
My appointment was on time.
Dentist gave me some good recommendations.
The only thing I would change is that I no longer get a scale and polish. I have been a patient of Darren’s my whole life and he always included a quick scale and polish during my 6 month checkup but I am no longer offered this which is such a shame.
