My appointment was the first of the morning and the dentist arrived late with no explanation or apology. Their mobile was in their pocket and ringing during the examination. The examination was mostly the dentist looking at previous X-rays rather than engaging with me. The dentist then spent 5 minutes trying to upsell services not on the NHS. I felt I was no longer a patient or even a client, I was just a number with money-making potential. Since this practice has been taken over by this company the whole personal interaction has gone. Previously I knew my dentist, had the same one for 25 years, check up, scale & polish, even a small filling all in one appointment, now it is one appointment for a check-up, make another one with someone else for a scale & polish, another one for a filling. Just a money-making exercise, if the dentist arrived on time and didn’t try to sell extra products they would have time to conduct a proper consultation. However, the 2 receptionists (both of whom were staff from the previous ownership) were very good and felt uncomfortable having to explain the dentist's actions. No doubt these two will be eased out and replaced by corporate dehumanised staff who will also promote extra expenditure.

With all honesty the best experience I’ve had with a dentist over the past 20 years of seeing them. The teamwork between staff and the smiley faces at the reception made it very welcoming!

Ladies on reception always pleasant, efficient. Appointments run on time. Text reminder the day prior to appointment. Dentist clinically professional and thorough.

The work carried out was excellent, Luke did a fantastic job on my tooth. He gave me good advice on further work I am planning to have done in the future.
