I am happy to to share a really positive experience. My treatment, for root canal, went very well I am pleased to say. Doubtful I could have received better care and attention. Considering the palaver John and his assistant had to go through with gowns, face masks, shields etc I consider myself well treated. And this for each patient. However given that this is the current situation well done to them and thanks for a professional but friendly and considerate approach.

After having my teeth polished for a reasonable fee I popped next door to the butchers and mentioned this. One of the staff asked me the price and it turned out his wife had been quoted about 2.5 times my price at her dentists "because of Covid".

Nervous to visit as due to the pandemic I'd put it off nearly two years, but as ever the staff at Sandygate were nothing but lovely. The receptionist has been there many years and is always a pleasure to speak to, very professional and friendly. The dentist explained what he was doing at every stage of my examination and at the end opened it up to me for any questions I had, which I really appreciated. Always have a bit of anxiety visiting a dentist and expecting the worst, but this was a really positive experience. Thank you Dr Oldfield & co!

I cannot recommend Sandygate Dental enough. Donna is incredible, the most efficient, friendly and professional reception manager I have ever come across, I’m always happy to see her smiling face when I visit. Dr John Alesbrook is wonderful, he puts you totally at ease about any treatments. His knowledge and skill are second to none. I had a tooth extraction today that I was NOT looking forward to and after 5 seconds and abit of pushing, the tooth was out, I couldn’t believe it, I didn’t feel a thing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently visited for a check up not having been for a while re the Covid pandemic. I felt v safe, it is v well organised re access, and Dr Christopher Oldfield who I saw was v thorough, did an x ray whilst there, and I had a follow on appt for a clean, all for the price of the check up as think clinically required after so long a gap from my last appt re the lockdown. I have since been back as lost part of a filling and was seen quickly by the same dentist, and all sorted. Lovely team, and Donna on reception as friendly and welcoming as ever. Would thoroughly recommend. I am an NHS patient by the way. The practice also has various plans I believe for private patients although you can access private treatment as an NHS patient should you wish to
access certain treatments not available on the NHS.

Had an implant done with John …. The man is a total pro , what he doesn’t know about teeth is not worth knowing !!!!
Charged me £2.8k for a beautiful new tooth that looks totally real and feels like a real one too …
Painless procedure , didn’t even feel drilling into my jaw bone …. Feels rock solid
Don’t have a bridge get an implant
Very happy feel like a new man !!!!
