Really impressed with Sandygate. They have a well organised booking system and will contact you if earlier possible appointments become available. You are seen very quickly with minimal waiting time. The quality of dentists seem great, and they do a great job of whatever it is you need. Would definitely recommend.

My front tooth was broken in the playground when I was 14. I had had endless problems with it ever since as with my bite any and all attempts at putting a crown in it's place using a range of methods had failed very quickly, within months usually. Every time I had to go through the whole process again. Meeting customers looking like i'd been in a bar fight, having to explain, feeling self concious and embarrassed by it, saving up enough spare cash to pay for a new one, moulds taken, uncomfortable temps, waiting for the new one, fitting. Always aware if it. Always worried when eating that i might break the latest one. Literally getting jawache from trying to eat without putting pressure on it. It was a source of constant stress. Sandygate fitted an implant. That was 5 years ago and I haven't had a problem since. I don't even think about it now. Also go for regular checkups there with the kids. Great experience every time.

Excellent service as always. Had toothache in a broken tooth and contacted the surgery in the afternoon. Appointment made for the next day, by which time pain had largely subsided, typical! Offer by Dr Mullen to remove offending tooth there and then, but as I had two adjacent broken teeth and there was insufficient time to deal with both and to avoid two separate extractions, we agreed to make a longer appointment to remove both. Subsequent appointment made for only a week later. Dr Mullen extracted both teeth surprisingly expeditiously with no grief, no complications and only minor post-anaesthetic discomfort. I had been dreading the inevitable for some time, seemingly unnecessarily. Thank you Sandygate Dental.

I am happy to to share a really positive experience. My treatment, for root canal, went very well I am pleased to say. Doubtful I could have received better care and attention. Considering the palaver John and his assistant had to go through with gowns, face masks, shields etc I consider myself well treated. And this for each patient. However given that this is the current situation well done to them and thanks for a professional but friendly and considerate approach.

After having my teeth polished for a reasonable fee I popped next door to the butchers and mentioned this. One of the staff asked me the price and it turned out his wife had been quoted about 2.5 times my price at her dentists "because of Covid".
