I was a bit worried about going back to dental practice after the 1st lockdown. But Sandygate Dental has managed the new safety/pre-visit process really well - after my checkup visit, I feel confident about going back there for any treatments required.

Always a good experience,with high quality care, and pleasant staff.
The precautions taken for the protection of all were outstanding, one minor niggle is trying to get through on the phone, however I'm sure this one small problem will be resolved.
I could not recommend Dr. J. Aylesbrook and all his team highly enough.

Been using this practice for 25 years or more, always a great experience but particularly now the practice has been re vamped and refurbished. John and Co should be very pleased with the results. Always have a chat and dental work quick and easy with everything explained before hand and prior to any work done. Plus they wont do anything if not really required. Well done .

I've been a patient of Sandygate Dental Practice for over 40 years and won't go anywhere else.
John is always professional, reassuring and informative and is fantastic with my two boys; they are never worried about their visits.
I'm always greeted warmly and helped by the ever professional Donna whenever I attend or call.
This year, the team have implemented Covid secure practices, keeping me informed along the way and I have always felt extremely safe when attending appointments for myself and with the boys.

Just had a crown fitted. Work started just before we went into "lock down" and so had o wait for the Practice to open.
They have put in excellent procedures to safe guard their patients, I felt absolutely safe and valued as a patient. The dentistry was excellent as well, Thank you.

The current Dental restrictions due to Covid 19 make a visit to the dentist very strange, but it was a relief to at last have the temporary DIY filling replaced by a proper one. I had not met this dentist previously and I would not recognise him outside the surgery, as he was covered up like someone from a Sci-Fi movie (!) , but he was easy to talk to, efficient and I appreciated his manner and the way that I could discuss options for the treatment. The surgery could not be faulted for its scrupulous cleanliness and all the staff put into practice every detail that is required for them to function at this time.

A visit to the dentist can put fear of God into some folk but I always find the staff , dental nurses and dentist put you at ease making the visit a pleasant and relaxed occasion. Everyone is always kind and caring and put the patients first. Have been attending Sandygate Dental for many years and cannot speak highly enough of all the staff thankyou. 2023 visit, again warm friendly staff , thankyou once again for all your care and attention, especially John my dentist 🦷🦷🦷. The team at Sandygate are always brilliant and this time around was no exception. They made me feel very safe through their new & very thorough organised measures before I had even arrived for my appointment.
I was emailed a questionnaire with instructions of what to do when I arrive so I felt reassured straight away. I was greeted at the door & taken to sanitise my hands before heading upstairs for my appointment.
Before I sat in the chair I had everything explained to me so that I felt comfortable & understood how the check up was going to be carried out with new safety measures. I felt relaxed & reassured throughout and highly recommend this practice for being so professional & friendly- all of the time!
