A visit to the dentist can put fear of God into some folk but I always find the staff , dental nurses and dentist put you at ease making the visit a pleasant and relaxed occasion. Everyone is always kind and caring and put the patients first. Have been attending Sandygate Dental for many years and cannot speak highly enough of all the staff thankyou. 2023 visit, again warm friendly staff , thankyou once again for all your care and attention, especially John my dentist 🦷🦷🦷. May 2024 great staff and Chris the dentist, made to feel at ease, thanks 👍

The team at Sandygate are always brilliant and this time around was no exception. They made me feel very safe through their new & very thorough organised measures before I had even arrived for my appointment.
I was emailed a questionnaire with instructions of what to do when I arrive so I felt reassured straight away. I was greeted at the door & taken to sanitise my hands before heading upstairs for my appointment.
Before I sat in the chair I had everything explained to me so that I felt comfortable & understood how the check up was going to be carried out with new safety measures. I felt relaxed & reassured throughout and highly recommend this practice for being so professional & friendly- all of the time!

I needed to attend during the pandemic and the preparation prior to the visit and the actual appointment and treatment received was excellent. All extremely professional and constant communication and explanation on the Covid 19 preventative measures, as well as the actual treatment undertaken. All very reassuring; and pain free too-which was a bonus!

Hi, I lost a crown to a piece of delicious, chewy, it shall remain nameless, piece of toffee. Aforesaid toffee carefully wrapped I phoned Sandgate Dental Practice and they fitted me in within a couple of hours. Once inside the dental studio my errant crown was reattached swiftly and securely. Many thanks!

I can’t rate this dental practice highly enough. John is professional and thorough - checkups are never rushed. I feel like it’s been an even better experience since going private. One thing I would like to point out is that each time my daughter has been to see him she has gotten more and more confident. During our last checkup she jumped up on the chair without any prompting. This is undoubtedly because she has been made to feel at ease. We feel like we absolutely made the right choice in picking John to be our family dentist.

Excellent practice, Dr Alesbook is a very kind and patient dentist, I have a lifelong fear of the dentist that is quite extreme. He has taken time to make me feel less scared and carefully explains every step. All the staff are kind and courteous. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.
I've been with the practice now over a decade, Dr Alesbrook has been absolutely fantastic with my Autistic child, seeing him from being young right up to him leaving school. He's very good at explaining to my child what's happening, importantly he always explains when and why he's going to touch my sons mouth. We've never had any sort of meltdown in the surgery due to Dr Alesbrooks diligence and understanding of neuro diverse needs.
