Sandygate Dental Practice

I’ve always had a great experience with Sandygate. As someone who finds the dentist a stressful experience, they are always accommodating and make the whole experience much less stressful.

I am a long-term patient at Sandygate, with troublesome gums! The care I receive from John and the team is always second to none. This morning I had my wisdom tooth removed. It’s never a pleasant procedure, but it was done with such reassurance and gentleness that I couldn’t fault it, and look forward to the benefits it brings.

A very professional and friendly practice. From initial consultation to commencing treatment for a broken crown. The fitting of a temporary crown was extremely thorough and absolutely painless. As a nervous patient I was immediately put at ease by all members of staff who took their time to explain everything they were doing.

Sandygate Dental Practice always provides excellent service. From the minute you walk through the door you are greeted by efficient and friendly staff. My Dentist has provided me with the best dental care - my teeth and gums are healthier now than they have been for many years. I would highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for private dental care.

I have been a patient of Mr Christopher Oldfield for over a decade and have always found him to be extremely helpful, thorough, and professional. My dental examinations are consistently detailed and reassuring. He has previously removed my wisdom teeth (third molars) and also carries out cleaning during my visits, which I really appreciate.

The practice itself has recently been refurbished and now looks very pleasant and modern, with a particularly welcoming and smart reception area. The reception staff are always kind, friendly, and helpful.

Overall, a very positive experience over many years, and I would highly recommend the practice.

John and his team are fantastic. He has looked after me extremely well over the past year, and I’ve always felt very cared for and listened to.
The reception team are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Melissa has gone above and beyond for me on a few occasions — she’s absolutely fantastic.

John has been amazing since we joined this surgery. My autistic adult son would never go to the dentist. It was so stressful. John as been fabulous with him. Now he comes every 6 months without anxiety.
My visit yesterday was due to finding a concerning area in my mouth. John once again was so reassuring. I went away with so much confidence.

Well where do I start? I smashed my front teeth out in an accident resulting in two crowns and a veneer also a night in Hospital, all had been fine then one of the crowns just folded and came away. Well it had lasted Seventeen years!

Now without a Dentist and reading how difficult it had become to see or even find a good Dentist seemed a daunting task, I did however find One with very very good review's I made an appointment.

I was greeted by Lotte on the desk who ask a few questions and filled a small question air in, then I was called
for my dental assessment, I met Dr Emilly she was lovely but I had an issue the broken crown had a post and it would not
drill out, it had been made to last the drill just bounced on the adhesive, She called for Dr John a specialist with implants
and bridge's ect, he took a quick look and said there are options we had a little chat and Dr John posted to me all treatment's available and approximate cost's and time scale.

At 55 years I did not want a bridge of any kind and opted for an Implant John explained the advantages and disadvantages of the treatment any concerns I had were all answered, made me feel at ease. An implant and the work involved is not as they would have you believe as shown on tv!
John's experience and professionalism shone through from the beginning with an eye for detail and precision.

I now have a fabulous replacement crown way better than before, it feels and looks totally natural I could not of asked for better!

My treatment has meant numerous trips to the Dental Practice where I have got to know the staff Charlotte Melissa Phoebe & John.
I have to say I really enjoy going always have a good chat to the staff and always have a laugh & joke with John everyone is down to earth I get to escape from work as a Director you never get to escape from work I do here, I get to unwind always leave with a smile on my face and feeling good.
I choose a Great Dentist practice I honestly feel fortunate I picked this one! and would without any doubt recommend Sandygate Dental practice to my friends.
