My appointment with Elana went extremely well. Apart from a thorough, careful cleaning she was the first dental professional in some 70 years to actually compliment me on my tooth cleaning attempts. Well done, Chapel Street.

My experience
The actual seeing the dentist experience was spot on as always, everyone I visit always makes me feel calm and they are all really friendly. The only negative to my recent visit was the way the waiting room and welcome has changed, the reception staff sit behind a massive lgbtq flag so you dont actually see anybody. I had a query after my appointment but there was no one to speak to. I'm aware covid has caused changes but this seems a bit extreme at least last time I visited there was someone there to welcome and acknowledge your arrival.

We wanted to thank you for your feedback and most importantly apologise for the confusion at the end of your appointment.
The old system of ringing the doorbell and waiting outside to be greeted went along time (hopefully with covid !) and therefore following your feedback and that of a couple of patients, we wanted to respond and let you know that we have indeed made quite a lot of changes to improve our service .
It was never our intention to 'hide' from patients, but as a small team we have been to making changes gradually that fit with the facilities we have within the practice and the team members we currently have.
There are future plans in place to improve the service even more, so next time you visit the practice we hope your experience will be greatly improved.

Your care is a privilege
As someone who came to your practice as a dental phobic more than twenty years ago, Gemma has treated me with such kindness and understanding and of course skill, I now travel from West Wales to continue the comfort and reassurance she and her team never fail to offer. I am now coming up for 74, with my body falling to bits in quite a frightening way, but my teeth are hanging in there quite well, thanks to having been looked after all these years in Web.
