The staff at this dental practice are all amazing. I haven't been to a dentist for some years because I was petrified, but the staff just made me feel at ease straight away, especially Gemma and Amy.
I had to have an extraction and it was a pleasant experience, that sounds weird I know but I didn't feel a thing, well done girls.

Routine examination and hygenist appointment
I attended my routine 12 monthly examination and hygienist appointment at the Chapel Street Dental and Implant Centre on Tuesday 4th October.
The visit is always a pleasure because the staff are very polite and professional.
I always have peace of mind that they are taking good care of my teeth and provide preventative care to ensure my teeth are keeping well.
The dental practice have coped very well with the recent measures for Covid and have maintained a service to their many client's.
I am very pleased with the dental care that I receive and look forward to my next visit.

Tooth extraction
The tooth extraction can be put into two parts the first part being my arrival at the practice which I was 5 minutes early, I waited in the waiting room for nearly 45 minutes without any of the staff explaining to myself why the wait was so long, its a private practice which is quite expensive and to just be left there without any communication for the staff is quite frankly not acceptable.
The tooth extraction was completed with the upmost professional detail second to none.

The notice outside needs to be changed as it still relates to the Covid situation. I mentioned this and it is to be dealt with.

Routine check up
The check up went smoothly - great care taken to ensure I was comfortable and that my teeth, gums jaw line and ( a first for me ) my mastoid bone area were as they should be.
However I felt quite uncomfortable as the confusing signage at the door I had been told to come through meant that I appeared at the window of the surgery, startling the patient inside and embarrassing myself as I had "got it wrong". I should have waited at the gateway until called - and the signage said not to go through but I had been TOLD to ( email) ! I was informed by the dentist of my mistake and was made to feel as if I was in the wrong when I think the message should have said ring the bell at the main door. Standing out in the street at a door way in the wind and potential rain is not the best way to treat patients.
