First time here after 45 years at a previous dentist which I left due to them wanting to charge me in full for making an appointment six months in advance. Smile4U were helpful when I rang to make an appointment and explained their method of working. Anna the dentist was thorough, supportive and apologised for any discomfort I felt (which was minimal). As much as one can, I’m looking forward to my six monthly check up

Dr Ali has been my dentist since 2020 and I won’t see anyone else now. It isn’t just that he’s very professional and good at his job, but he’s the only dentist I’ve ever had who is really committed to giving really good oral health advice to prevent me needing further dental work. Dr Ali is now my husband’s dentist too, and my mother also sees another dentist at the practice. The hygienists and receptionist are also lovely and do a very good job. Can’t recommend Dr Ali and the practice highly enough.

Hygienist visit
Today was a visit to the hygienist at Smile 4 U, Vahid Master. The hygiene visit has never been a favourite of mine but Vahid is very gentle and always asks if you’re ok but also very thorough with the cleaning procedure. You feel at ease and come out smiling. I would highly recommend Vahid for your hygiene visit.

I was made welcome when I arrived at the practice and throughout the procedure. The procedure was a particularly difficult one and lasted 3 1/2 hours. Throughout the procedure I was told what was happening and asked how I was feeling. This allowed me to relax as much as possible and, at one point, I nearly fell asleep; this seldom happens when I’m in a dentist’s chair. The dentist called the next day to inquire how I felt.

A ‘piece of cake’
I wasn’t looking forward to my visit (who does) but I needn’t have worried because it was a ‘piece of cake’. However, this practice actually wants to treat NHS patients and unless they get consent to do so, I will have to find another dentist! I was with previous owner from the age of 19 and am now 86!
