I joined The Dental Group just over a year ago now. During that time I've experienced almost every area of the dentistry, and it's all been to an excellent standard! I always receive an extremely warm welcome and efficient service when speaking with Giselle, Bella or Maria at reception. I've had my teeth cleaned thoroughly by the hygienist! I've received a new crown from Jeff and his dental nurse Lillia, where the expert level of care and attention I received was exceptional. I've also recently had a tooth extraction with Wal, who made the experience as painless as possible. The Covid-19 safety measures in place at the dentistry mean I feel comfortable and secure going for my implant this month. Thank you so much to the whole team, I will be with The Dental Group for a very long time!

After having consultations with 5 separate Orthodontic practices, I chose The Dental Group for their clear expertise, high-tech orthodontics (Fastbraces® etc.) and friendly service. Fixing my adult Class III malocclusion with palatal expansion and no extractions! The staff really make you feel at home.
Four years on, I still travel the 50+ miles to The Dental Group and I couldn't be happier with the RESULTS!

This is an unbiased and honest review of my experience with the Dental Group Portswood.
If I could give ten stars ********** I certainly would.....
I have been a patient of Jeff O’Carroll at the Dental Group for almost 20 years. Before this time I was extremely nervous due to a poor experience at at a surgery previously and as a child never relishing a visit to the dentist.
I cannot express enough how Jeff has been the best and finest dentist I have ever come across. Himself, Giselle O’Carroll and his incredible staff always make me feel most welcome and safe from the moment I step foot through the door. As for the dentistry I believe he is second to none, from a ‘clean and polish,’ general repairs and right up to a ‘smile makeover’ he ALWAYS makes me comfortable and I trust him explicitly. To this end I often hid my smile as I was not confident about the look of my teeth. The transformation with the ‘makeover’ quite frankly changed my life - for my well-being and my self esteem it has done wonders.

I constantly recommend this team time and time again, I would shout it from the roof tops - you will not go wrong to choose The Dental Group for all your dental requirements.

I have been coming to this dentist for many years as they are the best around. Although I do not live close by it is worth the travel for the attentiveness of the staff and the expert knowledge of the dentists. I would recommend this dentist to everyone especially if you are nervous as the team are very understanding and supportive!

Big shout out to The Dental Group, a great dental practice with such a friendly and welcoming work force from the receptionist right the way through to the dental practice manager, everyone is so helpful and polite, always so accommodating and flexible when it comes to working around your schedule, they even call you a few days after your dental treatment to see how you’re getting on.

Really pleased with the high level of service they provide on a constant basis. The dental practice gives you that family feel but more importantly looks after you from start to finish.

They provide a special customer experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone. Best part about it is they’re so affordable which is rare when it comes to your teeth.

I had a broken tooth and The Dental Group were fantastic. They managed to get me an appointment quickly so I wouldn't be in pain. I arrived to a friendly, very clean surgery reception with all Covid19 precautions in place. I had my temperature taken and the waiting room was very carefully laid out so people didn't mix. The dentist was fab, totally cleaned the room before I entered. Very high level of PPE with gowns gloves high filtration face masks and face screens. I felt very safe and totally confident in their hygiene precautions. The filling was relatively pain free and done very quickly. The dentist was helpful and very professional. I would totally recommend them to anyone who needs dental treatments or cosmetic dentistry. Although I was getting a filling I have previously had my veneers done by Jeff at the practice and they are as perfect now as they were 13 years ago when they were first done. Jeff is a total dental genius, an artist with teeth. The whole practice is top notch.

I came in with a horrible fear of dentists. I haven't seen one in 6 years and I needed quite a few repairs. After the first session and seeing how professional and caring the staff are I lost a lot of anxiety I had. My last session I found myself wandering in my head and even getting a bit sleepy where before I would be looking at every move of the dentist and be very anxious.
I can't recommend this place enough!

5 Stars in an understatement!!! Such a pleasant experience with this practice. Very welcoming team and sooo happy with the work done. They gave me back my smile and I've been getting comments about my teeth all week about how nice they look.

My partner was in extreme pain with his tooth. Called a few dentists and The Dental Group were the only ones who were able to fit him in. They did so within the hour. The receptionist was absolutely fantastic. Extremely helpful and so kind. So glad they were the ones to be able to help. Would highly recommend and would love to be able to give more than 5 stars!

Been a patient here most of my life. At least 20 years. Have had nothing but good experiences. Sorted an issue with my jaw that doctors said would need opperating on, without any pain. As well as all the usual dental care. Including new crowns. 10/10 for Jeff, Giselle and the whole team.
