Friendly service from all staff on reception, Dental work was pain free and helpful aftercare.

Replaced a filling that had fallen out at weekend…originally replaced/repaired in august.

Dr James Hyslop and his staff are a real professional setup. I had total replacement of upper dentures with an "all-on-four" bridge, plus two lower molar implants, and it was a pleasant and painless experience from beginning to end and took about 18 months to complete. There are no doubt cheaper services out there, but knowing that James and his team is on hand and close by and cares for and understands the patient is something that is worth paying extra for. Shout out to the rest of the team (I'm no good with names, but Sally & Sally were who I think interacted with the most).

Dr Hyslop has a very professional no-nonsense "bedside" manner and is meticulous in his attention to detail. You can see his ex-Army attitude via his friendly and get on with it attitude. He also supports the correct football club, which is vitally important.

Having avoided dentists for far too many years I knew this day would one day come, and am delighted with the outcome. A genuine life-changing experience. I'd never have thought I'd wake up looking forward to going to the dentist but here we are.

Absolutely love my new tooth implant! James Hyslop (along with the very lovely Sally & Michelle) has done an amazing job. Very professional, efficient & every step was explained to me clearly.

Absolutely fantastic dental practice. Everyone who works there cares about their patients from the welcome on the front desk to the dentists, nurses and hygienists.

Over the past year I have had a tooth out which has then been replaced by a dental implant. I am or used to be a nervous patient but the care and reassurance that Reece, Holly and James provided about every step of my procedures gave me total confidence and put me at ease and has eventually cured me of my anxiety associated with dental visits. The implant procedure Troon several steps and each time I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing throughout any of the surgery. James is a highly skilled surgeon who explained everything he was doing. I now have a fully functioning tooth once more and extremely happy with the service everyone provided and would also say the cost was very competitive.
It took me ten attempts to register with a dental practice when I moved to Southport and I’m glad I found Hyslop.

I had an implant, five front crowns and teeth whitening completed by James. I am so please with the outcome and can smile again without feeling embarrassed. Very impressed with Hyslop Dental. If you are looking for economy treatment, this is not for you. If, however, you are looking for professional dental treatment, at reasonable cost and with outstanding results, this certainly is somewhere you should consider. I have been highly impressed with the facilities, equipment, staff and end results of my recent treatment. I am not accustomed to leaving online reviews (as I’m now 73) but I am pleased to make the effort, on this occasion.

I was diagnosed with periodontal disease about 5 years ago, and had a lot of treatment to stop
It’s progression. I was left with two loose teeth. James Hyslop was recommended to me from a hygienist I was seeing. I went to the free consultation, thinking I probably wouldn’t have enough bone left and I doubted anything could be done. After the full checks I was informed that I could have a bone graft, and two implants. Everything was explained and I decided to go for it. It was a long and hard process and there were tears, but I am out the other side with a smile! I feel so much more confident and happy. Thank you to James and Sally (who is very kind) the reception team are also very nice and patient.

Just happy that I can smile again with confidence after losing two teeth during the pandemic. I would have no hesitation in recommending Heslop Dental and Implant Clinic for its five star service and excellent results.

I can’t recommend Hyslop Dental and Implant Clinic highly enough and in particular James Hyslop himself. Over the past 12 months I’ve had all on 6 implants in my top jaw and 3 individual implants in my bottom jaw and the skill, care and attention to detail has been second to none. It’s been challenging but I’ve been supported every step of the way with everything explained in detail. The whole team from Sally and Michelle supporting James (and me!) during the procedures and Joanne and all the staff on reception have made me feel so at ease at every appointment. I am delighted with the end result and love my smile.
