Very thorough, careful, gentle

Very polite service from the receptionist to the dentist and his assistant - the dentist was very thorough - explained very clearly what he was going to do and why - he was very careful not to touch my sinal area or cheek when I told him I had been involved in an accident - he was very gentle and made me feel very comfortable - excellent service so thank you.

Appointment was about 20 min a late no apologies. Dentist was very thorough but treatment felt rushed.
Small filling and x rays done. Overall satisfied but had better.

A gentle manner and works slowly

I have a severe dental phobia that requires me to take diazapam prescribed by my doctor. I also need to be accompanied by my husband or a friend. I also shattered my jaw as a child making it difficult to open my mouth very wide and making it painful to keep my mouth open for long. Having my jaw wired for 8 weeks damaged my teeth too. Nerve damage has made it difficult to know where I will feel pain, so I'm not the average patient.
Since seeing Gabriel I am finding it possible to visit the dentist without the same level of distress. Gabriel has a gentle manner and works slowly, allowing me time to cope and close my mouth. It is not easy for me or Gabriel when a back tooth is involved due to limited access. He never makes me embarrassed that I tremble and cry and yesterday for the first time I actually went to the dentist alone (I'm 55 years old). I don't know what I'd do without Gabriel and I hope he never leaves the practice. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment.

Always a really great experience

I've always had a really great experience with Old Market Dental Practice. The staff are always friendly and helpful and explain all treatments thoroughly. The dentist I see, Gabriel, is fantastic! I've had several issues with my teeth over the last few years and have had to have filling etc... every time I've had this done I've never had any further issues!
