First and foremost, we sincerely apologise for the delay you experienced and for the lack of communication while you were waiting. We completely understand how frustrating it is to be kept waiting without any update, especially when you've arrived on time and planned your day around the appointment.

While we always aim to run on schedule, healthcare does sometimes bring unexpected situations that can't be predicted or avoided. That said, it's our responsibility to keep you informed when delays do occur, and we're sorry this didn't happen during your visit.

We also want to clarify a misunderstanding, we do not charge patients for being late. Our policy applies only to short notice cancellations (less than 2 working days), which are charged at £1 per minute to help cover the cost of unfilled appointment slots. We understand how this could feel unfair in light of your wait and we'll be reviewing how we communicate this policy more clearly.

We're glad you received an apology at the time, but we acknowledge that the experience still left you feeling disappointed. Your feedback has been shared with our team and will help us improve how we handle communication during delays in future.
