Tooth extraction
After many years of neglecting my teeth and being rather scared of the dentist, I had to have a tooth removed, I honestly did not want to go. But, the team were amazing and made me feel at ease, every step was explained to me, and after it was done, I went home feeling no pain and calm. They were brilliant.

I was contacted ahead of my treatment to have the procedure explained and was treated sensitively on the day, put at ease and the whole treatment was pain free. I was given clear instructions for the after care and pain relief, the latter has not been necessary despite having had a wisdom tooth and its neighbour removed.

Recent Hygienist Visit
Very happy with the hygienist, however having pre-paid 6 months ahead of time for the session, I was hit with a further £5 because of price increase. I think that is cheeky given I have paid 6 months ahead. I was also not given a receipt, and a subsequent email request for same has not been responded to.

Hygienist and private check up
I was disappointed that my 11.30 appt ran so late I had to go to my 12pm appt then go back to the 11.30.
Making me very late for another appt I had out of the area.

My extraction
Yesterday I had a difficult extraction by my dentist Dr Chantal Burgess. I was apprehensive as Chantal had previously advised me that there was a possibility that she would have to revert to drilling and surgery to remove the tooth. This turned out not to be necessary due to Chantel’s experience and patience which I was extremely grateful for. I can’t speak highly enough of her care over three or four visits and her explanation of costs, procedures and options every step of the way. Not to mention her personality, caring and patient empathy throughout the process. She is a credit and wonderful asset to Sunningdale Dental Practice.
