Nadine was great with our first braces fitting. Explained every step of the way to my daughter, what she was doing. Great communication about braces care, and plenty of information to bring home to read. The whole practice from when we walked in, was very professional and really friendly. So fortunate to have this high level quality service in our community.

A good experience
I have never had such a good experience in the dentist. I had a cancellation appointment for a clean and polish, both dentist and hygienist were very friendly and enthusiastic which is very unusual from past experience and they weren’t quick to get you out the door. I left feeling very happy with very clean teeth.

My son has attended Cwmtawe Dental Practice for his braces on the NHS. The staff were really kind and supportive towards him during the whole process. We were well-informed throughout and are really pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them as an orthodontics dentist.

Best dental appointment ever
I rung at 9 as needed an emergency extraction. Patrick was the name of the dentist and Jess the assistant. He made me feel at ease and explained thoroughly what he was doing at each stage. He was by far the best dentist I have ever had. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend the dentist. I didn't get his last name but his first name was Patrick

Fantastic dentist! My daughter has been attending this practice for two years while receiving braces. Both dentists at the practice who she saw regularly were friendly, welcoming, helpful and truly lovely people. My daughters teeth are perfect! Thank you to all at Cwm Tawe. My experience
Called in the morning to reschedule my appointment due to work commitments. Private appointment, not nhs. Was told its not possible and that I will loose my deposit. Turned up anyway, just to find out that the doctor is running 45 min late so they rescheduled me. Just a check up is like 120£ and they obviously dont respect your time.

Thank you for your comments. However the policies of the company, dictate the workings of the practice.
I have spoken to my head receptionist and she can confirm that a conversation was had about cancelling the appointment, unfortunately it is the company's policy that short notice cancellations are charged for.
At the time of your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances the Clinician was running late, due to the pt in the chair requiring more complex treatment than anticipated, which i'm afraid does happen occasionally and we have a duty of care to ensure that all is well before we can let a pt leave the practice . The head receptionist advised you that the Clinician was running late, and you were happy to wait. However after a few moments, you asked to reschedule for another time.
The charges are set by the company and these are explained to you upon any enquiry, which you accepted and therefore booked the appointment.
We have placed you upon the cancellation list to contact you if we have any availability before your rearranged appointment, but if you wish to seek an alternate arrangement, we can arrange to refund your deposit.
