Appointment
My daughter had booked this appointment 6 months ago because of toothache. She was told she needed a filling but this won’t happen until January. So she would have been in pain for nearly a year. Constantly waiting for appointments.

Thank you for your response. We as a practice totally understand your frustration and we fully empathise, but unfortunately we only have 1 NHS dentist working here, despite continually advertising the vacancy for over 18months, we have been unable to secure someone. This is a national problem and many practices are finding it difficult and it is causing lots of pts to suffer, which we do not agree with as a healthcare profession.
We do have a cancellation list for pts that require treatment, so pls contact the practice to see whether your daughter has been placed onto this. My apologies if this was not conveyed to you at the time.
We advised all pts to call the practice at 9am if they have swelling or pain that cannot be controlled, whereby we triage and offer appts wherever possible.

Very good
Staff were exceptional
As usual, the dentist and the support staff were exceptional. The only issue I found was that there was quite an aggressive second receptionist on the main counter, who came across as quite rude and abrupt.
The receptionist who met me on arrival was very professional. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the demeanour of the said second receptionist.

Emergency appointment
Helpful initial response from member of staff who answered telephone and welcoming and friendly receptionist. Also professionalism of Dentist. I appreciate being offered an emergency appointment on day of request.
