I only went in for the fitting of a denture

I hadn’t been to the dentist for quite a while, so after reading the reviews I decided to register as a new patient at Tamworth House Dental Practice. Overall, I’m very happy with the treatment I received.

Mohammed Jabor went above and beyond to save my tooth by fitting a crown, even though it probably would have been easier to remove it. I really appreciate the care and effort he put in and I only wish I’d known how good he was sooner as I would have made an appointment much earlier.

Mohammed and his assistant Oana were both friendly, welcoming and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process.

I have a broken tooth that currently has a temporary filling in it. After seeing a private dentist at a different highly rated practice the recommended treatment is a root canal and a crown.
Due to recent financial difficulties I could not afford the cost (and am entitled to NHS treatments!) so went to see Jemcy James at Tamworth House Dental practice.
On the first visit she stated she could do the treatment, but preferred to do an extraction as the tooth isn’t stable. She even showed me the price chart of a root canal and crown on the NHS!!!
I went away for a day to think about it, and after deciding the tooth is worth saving (and is able to be!) I tried to book in with her less than 24 hours later for the root canal and crown.
Now she is refusing to do it, stating she’ll ONLY do an extraction!
I’ve cancelled the appointment as I’m absolutely disgusted by her sudden change of mind.
A quick browse online tells me that NHS dentists dislike doing root canal and crown treatments as it’s usually at a loss to them. Extractions are quick and easy, so they prefer it.
I’d be very wary of trusting this dentist, especially if she tries to push for an extraction. Seek a second or even a third opinion.

Dr Dhillion is an amazing patient lady, she has restored my faith in Dentists. I’m the most nervous patient, who has finally got to a stage where I go every six months now.
