Terrible. Constantly badger you with reminders about your appointment, telling you to be on time. Turned up today at 11:10 am for my 11:25 appointment to be told running late. How long, I asked. Oh, can’t say the receptionist said. I asked how late the current patient went in 45 minutes was the reply! I’m not sitting waiting for the dentist for an hour. Be a different story if we were late! Some of us have to miss time off work for these appointments.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this invaluable feedback. First off, I fully understand and apologise unreservedly to you for the inconvenience we caused you....waiting frustrates me too. I'm not here to make excuses for the delay, just to explain what happened yesterday. You have posted anonymously, but I am guessing you were one of the patients impacted yesterday by one of our dentists being tasked with dealing with an emergency patient. We do have allocated slots for this sort of situation, but unfortunately, by their very nature emergencies, they don't necessarily conform with the times we allocate...and unfortunately this was one of those occasions. Dentists, as with GP's, etc are obligated to provide necessary care for emergencies. It impacted on a number of other patients too, and I apologise to all of you. I cannot promise that we will never have delayed appointments again, but please believe me when I say we do everything we can to keep the inconvenience to a minimum....and we do care. I will definitely look though at how we can more effectively feedback information to waiting patients as and when these circumstances arise again. Kind regards, Phil (Practice Manager)
