I went to this dentist with severe toothache which I thought was an infection but it was caused by hardened plaque under the gums. This dentist worked magic and by the time I got home I was almost pain free. THANK YOU!

My experience
I was seen as an emergency which was fantastic although the work itself is only temporary. The staff are lovely and so understanding, I salute them as they must have it difficult daily!
As the treatment is temporary it will need fixing but I’m unable to get a routine appointment as the NHS dentist only works half a day!! Personally I feel the money private dentistry makes as it’s unregulated and they can charge what they like is their preference, it’s sad as those registered NHS patients who genuinely cannot afford to pay private have to struggle. I personally have lost sleep worrying about the cost of repairing this tooth with no other option that to potentially pay privately!

It was my first hygienist clean & polish visit for quite some time. Lauren and her assistant were very welcoming, friendly and professional. I was given some good advice to help maintain my teeth and gums. I must say surprisingly, it was a painless experience. The receptionists were very polite as always. Thanks

Tewkesbury House Dental Practice
The dentist was very pleasant. I had two x-rays everything appeared to be alright. I explained I’ve had my denture for at least 30 years and I explained to her because of my age my teeth are 75 years old! I will book in again in six months.

Appointment
Reception staff were friendly & I didn’t have to wait long before I was seen. Clinicians were also friendly & professional. But I was disappointed that I couldn’t pay cash for my treatment. The building is old & obviously the reason for the slightly damp smell.

My experience
Everyone is very friendly and professional but it is so disappointing that NHS customers are made to feel like second class citizens - having to line up a month before needing an appointment to have any chance of getting one.

Extraction
Had a molar that was decaying under the gum removed. Had to be cut out by a specialist. He, and the dental assistants, were very helpful and put me at ease for what was a difficult extraction.
