Got an appointment quickly for a problem I’ve been having and couldn’t get into an nhs dentist anytime soon. Very friendly welcome.

Some equipment was not working in the hygienist department. I think they forgot a customer was sat there as they were running around to sort it out.

I want to thank you for taking the time to review your experience at Tewkesbury Dental. I am very sorry to hear that your experience was far below the standard you and I would have expected. However, the equipment failure in the hygienist department was totally unexpected and would have meant cancelling and rescheduling your appointment as well as the rest of the hygienists' clinic. However, due to the prompt action of the staff around the hygienist to contact our engineer and expedite some workarounds, we were able to ensure the hygiene clinic could continue. I am very sorry that in our efforts to rectify the fault, we may have inadvertently not communicated the reason for the delay and the impression that we may have given was that you were not our first priority. I take complaints very seriously, and I am sure we will learn from this experience and continue to improve our customer care skills.
