Repair was done there and then
A crack in an old filling was found at the 6 month check. Repair was done there and then. Seemed to be a bit tricky but Dentist and Nurse worked well together as a team. All good!

My experience
I have been with this practice for over 30 years. Going on this experience I will not be with them much longer. My checkup appointment was with Pieter who couldn’t see me so I was put with another dentist who barely looked at my teeth. My usual hygienist is Shalin who I couldn’t get an appointment with for 4 months. Loyalty doesn’t appear to count. Not a good experience at all Calm and Gentle.

Emergency treatment promptly provided
Having lost a repair to a broken tooth and problems developed on a second one over a Bank Holiday weekend Calm & Gentle managed to fit me in on the next working day to relieve my pain with quick and effective action.

Adjustment to Denture
A tooth extraction last year left me with a gap which caused food to become trapped. I decided to have another tooth added to my partial denture. The procedure required two visits on the same day, one for impressions in the morning and fitting and adjustment in the afternoon. All this work was carried out in a friendly, efficient manner and pain free. Since the procedure I have had no further problems.

Rather expensive for the time I was seen
Think £80 for ten minutes is a little excessive, I did get antibiotics for my tooth but my tooth was healing nicely. Apart from that, I'm with my treatment.
