I am very nervous visiting a dentist and always have been having suffered 70’s Dentistry.
This is not the case with Calm & Gentle.
The staff here always make you feel calm and reassured. I would highly recommend Calm & Gentle Dentist.

Need to get an emergency appointment and Estie and Peter were very accommodating, the treatment wasn’t long so it was done on the day. Very happy to have found excellent service and that they are really good at what they do and on the plus side, they are also very nice.

I needed some emergency treatment. My regular dentist was unable to accomodate at short notice. CGDC were able to fit me in on the same day and progress treatment. There's still more to be done but my experience has been of friendly, efficient and competent service. Update 23 Oct 21 - The work is now complete and I'm very pleased with the results. Everything went smoothly and to plan, resulting in a very happy customer. Many thanks to Dr Claassen and his staff :) Update: Had a Diamond clean with the new machine. Very efficient and effective. My teeth are shiny and clean. Well worth the small surcharge to get this level of service. Update: June 22. A broken filling needed replacing. I got an emergency appointment within hours and the problem was quickly resolved. You can't beat that quality of service :)
Jan '23 - Excellent hygienist service from the very friendly and competent Ann and Emily. Always a pleasure doing business with Calm & Gentle Dental Care. Top of the class!

Everyone gets a bit nervous when it’s a trip to the dentist , but there is a friendly face from the receptionist as soon as you walk in , the dentist room is comfortable and relaxing even your favourite music if requested , The dental nurses are friendly and make you feel relaxed , lovely dentists also friendly , it’s not really like a trip to the dentist I’m really pleased with my visits

As always very caring and kind, made me feel I was out on a mini spa day 😊 as had to wait a couple of hours whilst my implants were mended. I sat in there tranquil garden drinking tea and listening to the birds 🐦 sing 🎶 Thank you for making me feel so relaxed xx

My mum and I are new patients at Calm and Gentle Dental and we love it - from start to finish, the atmosphere is friendly and reassuring, which is great since my mum suffers with anxiety when it comes to dentists. Pieter made sure to reassure my nerves on my first visit and took the time to take me through my options. The team are very kind and overall create a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very dedicated and committed to what they do and I wouldn't consider going to any other local dentist now that I have found Calm and Gentle Dental.
