I'm a very anxious and nervous person who avoided dentist for many years due to a bad experience when I was young. Calm & Gentle put me at ease with everything , even after my stroke Peter and all the staff was very kind and thoughtful l would definitely recommend this practice.

Had a consultation at calm and gentle, they were very efficient and made me feel at ease at all times, even in the current covid crisis. They were very good at explaining all my options with no pressure to make a decision there and then.

Following an initial consultation I returned to have a tooth removed and an additional tooth put on an existing plate (all done on the same day). I was very nervous but Pieter has a wonderful calming professional manner and put me at ease immediately. Hardly felt the injections or tooth being removed. Would highly recommend if you are anxious about visiting a dentist. Have already booked to go back and have more work done.

I visited calm and gentle to have a wisdom tooth extracted under sedation. I was extremely anxious about the whole process, however all the staff made me feel so welcome and at ease straight away. Pieter performed the extraction and was true to their motto of ‘calm and gentle’. A few hours later, I write this review with minimal pain and wondering why I got so stressed about the whole situation. I would highly recommend calm and gentle if like me you may feel anxious about a procedure. Amazing service and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again if needed.

After many years of painful and unpleasant experiences, I became terrified of visiting the dentist and would often flee the waiting room, in the early 1990's I was recommended Hanover House Dental Practice and have not looked back since, I have mainly seen 4 dentists during this time and all have been wonderful, Pieter is exceptional and calm and gentle describes the experience perfectly. I have seen Shalin for about 2 years and have been very satisfied.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

I was absolutely terrified of having my wisdom tooth out but couldn’t stand the pain I was in, so booked an emergency appointment to get checked out. I called the reception and the lady I spoke to was very calming and reassuring and supported me to book an appointment. My dentist Pieter and nurse Sophie got me through the appointment and made me feel at ease. After having my tooth removed yesterday I’m happy to say I’ll be coming back if I need further treatment! Being a nurse and a Quality Lead myself, I recognise great teams and was thoroughly impressed with the care I received. Thank you all so much!

This was my second visit which in its self is a wonder as my terror of dentistry is all consuming!! This is by far the best dentist in Tonbridge and I would strongly recommend them. The results are brilliant and the discomfort is nil. Lovely people who take the time to put you at your ease

These are strange times, and I was apprehensive and nervous about going to the Dentist, but I had been in pain for awhile and couldn’t put it off any longer, so after looking through Calm and Gentles website I decided to give them a try.
Honestly I’m so glad I did.
Very professional and very Co-vid aware and hygienic, which made me feel at ease straight away, all staff are very friendly, I know we all hate going to the dentist, but I recommend giving this one a try, I’ll be going back without any hesitation.

I drive nearly an hour in order to use this excellent dental practice. I am the most sensitive, low-pain-threshold, dentist-phobic person and in 10 + years (and I have regular visits, at least twice a year - have needed fillings, implants, porcelain tooth rebuild etc), I have never ever once felt any pain or had a negative experience. I have lived in the USA, Canada, South Africa and the UK and this is by far the very best dentist I have ever been to! Six stars!
