I have been coming to Birkbeck Smile Clinic for many years now and Rachel and Peter have given me my smile back - This Clinic makes you feel confident and comfortable and I cannot recommend enough.

From reception to end of my appointment all staff very kind and helpful. I am a very nervous patient and every time have been reassured and talked to during the time spent with you from reception through the hygienist and beyond very lovely practice. Would recommend.

The Best!

I have been coming to this practice for over 25 years. Peter Walsh has been absolutely spot on from the start. He makes you feel at ease and it’s also good to have a laugh and joke too. Very professional in his approach and he will be sadly missed due to retirement. Thank you Peter! Have fun on your dog walks, family and free time. Here's to many more years ahead of you. My first experience of a consultation at BD was in every respect most positive: the appointment took place at the time notified and was done with professionalism and care for the patient in a very friendly yet businesslike atmosphere. I was shown the detailed x-rays which were fully and clearly explained, as was the diagnosis and recommended treatment. Referral for the latter, to a nearby dental practice, had been effected by email letter by the time I returned home (within 30 minutes). Excellent.

Amazing dental practice, the best in the business. I can’t recommend these people highly enough. Every visit I am made to feel welcomed, put at ease and completely informed of the dental situation. And then the magic happens. I can honestly say the last time I paid a visit (09.04.26), I left thinking my teeth looked better now than when I was 18. Absolutely amazing. I have been a customer since 2008 and I wish I had found this surgery even sooner in my life. If you are looking for a reliable, friendly and professional team, this is the place for you. 10 stars out of 5.

Absolutely brilliant

I came in this week nervous as possibly needing root canal due to forthcoming radiotherapy and time was taken to thoroughly talk to me, listen to me and taking the time to explain everything.
It really put my mind at ease.
Everyone I met from reception to dentistry were so lovely. Thank you.

Emergency treatment

Dr Peter Walsh had helped my 93 year old mum have her teeth sorted before a hip replacement. So it was obvious to have Peter help me with my rear tooth breaking off leaving the roots behind. Both Peter and his assistant were courteous and kind (my fear of dentistry is historic), treatment was both empathetic and carried out very professionally.
I will be returning as a New Patient. Being treated kindly and understandingly was greatly appreciated and welcomed.

A thorough check of my teeth

As usual we were greeted by reception like old friends. Rachel the hygienist was my first port of call, no problems found then up to see Peter who I have been seeing for over 20 plus years. Always pleased to see you and has a thorough check of my teeth. No fillings today.

Very pleased with how it all went. Claudia is really nice and checks that you are okay during the procedure and explains what is happening. Explained what I could maybe expect when the anaesthetic wears off. Said she was sorry for keeping me waiting and the assistant also came out to tell me there was a delay. Due to the microscope playing up.
