I phoned the Valley Road Dental practice yesterday and was given an appointment this morning. Although I don’t live in the United Kingdom, but with Family in Clacton for Christmas.
Everyone from Mrs Robinson to the receptionists, were so kind and caring.

Phoned this morning for and emergency appointment, got an appointment for afternoon, Dentist removed my tooth without any problems and explained what he was doing from start to finish, excellent service, would recommend, staff was also fantastic.

I've been a regular for many years and the service, professionalism and welcome is always of the highest order. The attention to detail including hygiene, dental care advice and operation is exceptional and all set in a pleasant surrounding. Visiting the dentist is never high on anyones list of activities but the staff at the Valley Dental Practice make it as comfortable as it could possibly be. (Given a 5 star rating because 6 stars isn't available!)

M first visit to Valley Dental Practice and I cannot fault it. All staff I met were very efficient and friendly. It was a pleasure to have an examination and a filling! Dr Botha explained what he was doing and informed me of his recommendations for future care of my teeth.The surroundings are very clean and relaxing. highly recommend.

So happy my brother and I found this lovely Dental Surgery. The Receptionist greeted us warmly and we were directed to a clean, Covid safe Waiting Room. We both saw Dr Botha who is very softly spoken and had a gentle reassuring manner. I was nervous but he listened to my concerns and offered advice not only on my dental treatment but also my general overall wellbeing. I know we will get good treatment as all the staff are professional and caring. Please give them a try as I know you will not regret it.

Saw Dr. Botha this early morning, my elderly top denture needed significant care, I am 90. Dr. Botha relined it about 10.0am, and I had it re fitted at 4.0 pm by him and attending Nurse, after it had fully set, creating a permanent new lining. Just enjoyed my dinner, using all my upper teeth, both sides of jaw, not having to favour a small area. Comfortable and once again secure. Huge improvement. I will mention cost, it was £100, which is double the NHS £50, I expected to pay about £250, which if I had got an NHS appointment, would have taken at least six or seven days to complete. I am most grateful.

I was in need to see a dentist quickly as experienced some slight discomfort. I was seen within a day by dr Botha who carried out an assessment and diagnosed the issue quickly. The team were professional and very competent
My only disappointment was I have to wait 3 weeks before treatment can start and 6 weeks before it can be completed and have to manage the discomfort until then
