After a lifetime of horrible experiences I could have won an award as the most frightened patient ever. My crown broke over 2 years ago and I couldn't bring myself to visit a dentist at all. I was recommended Valley Dental Practice and couldn't be happier. From the very first phone call I felt listened to. Everyone from reception to the dentist were warm, welcoming and kind. The dentist and the nurse were super friendly, the dentist really understood how frightened I was and calmly talked me through everything he was going to do. After the initial assessment my treatment plan was broken into 2 visits, the idea of both terrified me but I can honestly say I never felt a thing. I felt confident that if I needed to stop the dentist for any reason he would stop immediately. After my first visit I cried out of sheer relief, the second visit still scared me and I walked out feeling a bit wobbly from my own adrenaline but I already know I will be going back in 6 months and for ever more just to keep on top of things. I thoroughly recommend this dental practice. I cant praise them highly enough. Thank you for changing my mind about dentists I will never ever go anywhere else.

I have always been treated with help and understanding. At every stage of my treatment the process has been explained to me. My dentist is friendly but professional. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone seeking a fantastic dentist to go to Valley Dental practice.

Lovel practice, always make you feel at easy and very help

I visited the practice this morning. The receptionist was very friendly and answered my questions. I did not have long to wait before I was called. The dentist welcomed me into an immaculately clean surgery and was friendly, and important to me as I am frightened of dentists, he informed me of what he was doing and answered all my questions in an informative way. He did not talk down to me as some other dentists have done in the past.
All in all my visit was extremely good.

Mr Botha is such a kind gentle man. I highly recommend him especially if your a bit nervous like me. He puts you at ease and takes into account any limitations that you have. In my case I have rounded shoulders so can't lay flat. He always has something to put under my neck and doesn't lay the chair down flat. Perfect.

I used valley Dental practice for the first time today, after moving to Clacton from London 3 years ago.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly check in staff, I felt at ease straight away.
Once I was called into the surgery, Dr W Botha B.D.S. & his assistant put me at ease, he explained to me what he was going to do & it all went exceptionally well.
I would definitely recommend this Dental surgery to anyone.

Found this amazing dentist a year ago. I'm so scared of the dentist. But this father and son team and staff have been brilliant. I needed an extraction and it wasn't straight forward, but between the both of them they managed it and I am still amazed that I actually sat through that procedure and have gone back for check ups. A brilliant practice to go to.

Usual six monthly visit to hygienist and dentist. Both carried out totally professionally and carefully. Phillipa is the most gentle hygienist I have been treated by. The dental examination was as usual calm and professional.

No messing about. No technical jargon. Dr Botha examined me diagnosed the issues, explained the treatment plan and quoted me. 2 appointments zll issues solved. Dr Botha and nurses borh highly professional, calm and polite. Most of all. No pain. Thankyou
