Very attentive and respectful service we received during our last hygiene appointment. He patiently explained each procedure and provided what could be cause of any issues and gave workable advice on how to prevent further damage. Myself and my partner were very impressed with him. We are definitely going back!

I had a family appointment for myself and two children (15 and 16). They were seen first and given lots of great advise and had the fluoride paste put on to help prevent cavities.
Then I had my check up, the dentist realised she had some spare time so offered to do a full clean of my teeth which was needed. Only took about 10 - 15 mins and off I went.
Appointment was on time and all staff polite 😁

My experience
I was surprised when I returned home after today’s filling replacement to find I’d been given a white filling. I had previously agreed to have a silver one as they are stronger and my last white one only lasted 2 years. My dentist had agreed this so I don’t understand why I did not receive the silver type. I also had to wait 25 minutes for my 08.50 appointment which I think is quite a long time for an appointment made that early in the day. I believe the work that was carried out was good quality however, just not what I thought was agreed.

Hygienist is very thorough and explains/summarises outcome of the visit in a way I understood using X-rays to support with a clear action plan. Felt I understood what was happening at each step and was comfortable.

We really like the practice
It was our first visit to Wallingford House Dental Practice but not the first time seeing Fiona Mackay who was our dentist at Wootton Dental and we very much wanted to keep her as our dentist and she has kindly taken us on with her at Wallingford.
We really like the practice after our visit. Fiona is a really good dentist and the reception staff are really friendly and helpful. We hope very much to continue coming for our dental work.
