My dentist came in early especially to accommodate me which I did not know until the very nice receptionist told me who also was of great help yesterday getting advice from the dentist and between them fitting me in. The appointment together with the advice I received was nothing short of excellent and I thank Fiona very much.

My experience
I went in as planned for a ‘filling’ as much as it was described to me. When it panned out the procedure took an hour in a very uncomfortable procedure of which zero context or explanation was given. Turns out they were reconstructing the tooth! Some communication about exactly what was about to happen to me would have been nice / essential / expected. The tooth still hurts considerably and though the dentist team did their best and were pleasant I feel duped and mildly upset by the experience.
They continually cancel appointments with no explanation and are clearly struggling as a practice.

Thorough examination of my teeth
Reception staff very polite, helpful.
Dentist and Dental Nurse professional.The dentist undertook a thorough examination of my teeth and gave good suggestions on plaque removal. 2 year X Rays taken, no specific issues.

The only thing i had an issue with is the answer machine this morning. It said i was 3rd in line then eventually got through after 25 mins to be told to leave a message. So went in person to the practice and got an appointment straight away! Cant fault the service but the answer machine is annoying when it says ‘Stay on the line to talk to one of the team’ only to be told after 25 mins to leave a message!

Excellent service at reception & the dentists/hygienists but every appointment there’s always a minimum 10/15 minute wait no matter what time of day. Just a bit disappointing.
