Inglewood House Dental Practice

I had a problem with a loose tooth and managed to get an appointment the same day. Friendly service, everything explained, simply the best.

I’ve been using Inglewood for more than 20 years, and I could not be more pleased and impressed by the way they are treating the patients and by the quality of their dental services.

As always, no waiting, my appointment was on time. The hygienist was very pleasant and carried out the work with very little discomfort

As always I received a polite, positive and warm experience. All the staff are highly professional. The actual treatment that I received was first class as always. Staff also went out of their way to help me with the stairs and avoid the outside ones when I was leaving. I am having mobility issues and as my balance is affected they were happy for me to link one hand through an arm to get around inside the building and when I was leaving.

Very satisfied. Phoned Wednesday, appointment Thursday. Time taken to explain everything to me and enough time for me to explain to the dentist.

My husband and I have great confidence in Dr Dorrington. He is an excellent dentist - knowledgeable, skilful, professional and kind.
We have been with the Practice since it opened 20+ years ago and have found the whole team to be excellent.

The service was first class from start to finish. Very friendly and professional, made me feel at ease straight away. Time was taken at my appointment to make sure I was comfortable, all options explained fully and no treatment was pushed, just all the options I asked for provided along with quotes for the work. Time was also taken to reassure me and help me with a caring nature. First time at the practice and will definitely be going back to have treatment. Fantastic and would highly recommend.

I think Caroline is fantastic and is exactly the type of dentist I was looking for, both for myself and my son. After having a very poor experience with another dentist, I was put off attending the dentist for around six years. Caroline immediately made me feel at ease and took the time to clearly explain what I needed to do to improve my dental care, which I really appreciated.

However, I was disappointed to learn at my most recent appointment that hygienist appointments now have to be paid for in full in advance.

Having already paid £55 for my dental appointment, I was then asked to pay a further £55 upfront for the hygienist appointment. This meant needing to find £110 at the time of my appointment, which I hadn't been expecting.

I completely understand the frustration caused when patients don't attend appointments, and I appreciate the need for a policy to minimise this. However, I do question whether requiring the full £55 payment in advance is necessary. Would taking a deposit instead be a more reasonable approach, while still providing some protection against missed appointments?

I have had a really positive experience with Caroline and the practice overall, so I hope this feedback is taken in the constructive way it is intended. My concern is specifically around the new payment policy and the financial pressure it can place on patients.

Just had my 6 monthly dental check and visit to the hygienist combo and have realised that it must be around 20 years (if not more), that I’ve been looked after so well by Rob at this practice. Throughout all of these years the service I’ve received has always been consistently high; Rob is such a warm professional and always makes time to chat (even though he is so busy!). I’ve always felt in the safest hands and the work he did several years ago has lasted well and I can still smile with confidence and gratitude! Can highly recommend this family run practice to anybody looking for a dentist they can trust
