Six monthly review
I attended my review and was very happy with the review and also with the hygienist appointment. I had an appointment for physiotherapy following my appointment and everyone went to a lot of trouble to make sure I got prompt attention so that I would be on time for this appointment. As usual everyone was very kind and approachable.

I'm having problems with my crown.

Repair of painful broken tooth
I suffered a broken tooth while eating and called the surgery immediately, in a lot of pain around 3.30 Thursday. The receptionist was very understanding and gave me an emergency appointment at the end of the following day(1pm). On Friday morning they called and gave me an earlier appt, due to a cancellation.
The dentist saw me shortly after arriving, checked the tooth for area, level and cause of pain. She discussed with me how she'd like to temporarily fill the damaged area rather than put me through root canal treatment as my description of the causes of pain meant it was likely the nerve and root were fine. I agreed and she filled the damaged area. She gave me advice on do's and don'ts and to call if I suffer any more pain in it. No need to anaesthetise or drill as there was no underlying decay. I left pain free and happy after 5-10 mins in the chair.
