Dr Rupert Monkhouse was exceptional. I was anxious due to past traumatic experiences with dentures. Rupert listened attentively, understood and answered my questions patiently. Rupert explained carefully what was going to happen. I felt safe, reassured realistically and involved in the journey of having full upper dentures made.
The dentures exceeded my hopes, fitting perfectly, without adhesive. I can talk, smile even yawn without them moving. I have adjusted to the new bite and can eat almost everything. I am delighted with how natural they look.
I can recommend Rupert without any hesitation and wish I had found him earlier.

Practice Manager, Receptionists, Dentist (alex) and Dental Nurse all really nice and treated me really well when i was in a lot of pain and petrified. Did everything they could to look after me and reassure me about treatment required. Highly recommend them especially if you have had bad experiences with dentists in the past. I will definitely be going back for check ups etc.

Amazing practice and Nav is just the best dentist. Everyone is always smiling and cheerful and very patient with people who are nervous about the treatment. I can’t recommend Woodborough highly enough, great dental surgery I am so glad I moved to them.

I was recommended the Woodborough House practice by my own dentist as I needed a dental implant for a front tooth. I am so glad that I had that recommendation. 5 stars doesn't seem enough! The professionalism and care of Nick, Sofia, Amy, Holly, Laura and everyone there is absolutely first-class.

The practice has some very sophisticated technology for assessing your teeth, including the latest CT scanner (normally found in a hospital) and software for mapping out your mouth. It is impressive and appalling in equal measure (lol!). After the first consultation with Nick, I read the report and wondered if I should get myself off to the knackers yard! However we worked out a plan of action, having listened carefully to my thoughts.

The operation to have the implant is not trivial and the two weeks post operation were not the most comfortable, to put it mildly. But the aftercare over the weeks was without fault. There were a lot of specific instructions, solutions to use and checkups.

When it came to the permanent crown, I even went to London to meet Rob who made my tooth (Sofia suggested this and I am glad that she did). He even puts in imperfections so that is totally in keeping with your other teeth. How anyone decides to do this "on holiday" in a couple of weeks is beyond me. You might save a few pennies but end up with a failed implant and worse effects on your health.

Speaking of money, of course all of this excellent equipment with highly trained and motivated staff does not come cheap. But it absolutely is value for money.

As a final touch, the staff even gave me a card and a gift from Nick's native NZ. I was very touched. I only wish they were nearer (and the traffic and parking were easier!) otherwise I would go there as my main dentist. I might still do it. They are that good.
